GigaTera's Light, Proven Through the Satisfaction of All
- This project is a premier public sports facility lighting modernization solution in which the old, existing lighting at the Matsumoto Hiraoka Gymnasium, a key public sports facility in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan, was completely replaced in 2017 with GigaTera's state-of-the-art, high-efficiency LED high-bay lighting system, delivering the highest satisfaction to all its users.
Although the Matsumoto Hiraoka Gymnasium was an important space responsible for the community's sports activities, it faced the significant challenge of a very dark environment due to a woefully insufficient number of lights for the facility's size and the severe aging of its existing mercury lamps. This was a key problem that threatened the safety of its users and hindered pleasant sports activities.
To fundamentally solve this problem, GigaTera's innovative LED high-bay lighting solution was adopted. GigaTera went beyond simply illuminating a dark space, aiming to enhance the facility's long-term operational value by providing shadow-free, uniform light across the entire court through precision optical design and maximizing energy efficiency. GigaTera's technology, which achieves superior light quality with minimal energy, was the key to transforming the dark and stagnant space into one of completely new vitality.
After the project was successfully completed, the gymnasium's transformation left a deep impression on all officials. Facility officials expressed their highest satisfaction, stating, "We are very pleased, as it has become noticeably and incomparably brighter than before." This is the most certain testament to success, clearly validating that GigaTera's technology delivered the highest value and satisfaction to both its actual users and managers.
