GigaTera's Light, Illuminating the Standard for International Events
- This project is a premier international event infrastructure implementation project, conducted as part of the Chelyabinsk (Chelyabinsk) International Airport modernization for the 2020 SCO and BRICS summits, and led by GigaTera's Russian partner, in which the airport apron lighting was completely replaced with GigaTera's high-performance LED system.
Facing a large-scale international event like the SCO and BRICS summits, Chelyabinsk Airport, as a key infrastructure for the participating heads of state and delegations, was required to have the highest level of safety and efficiency. However, the old, existing lighting system fell short of modern illuminance standards, making it difficult to secure the safety and reliability required for a 24-hour airport. Tasked with the great responsibility of this national project, our Russian partner adopted GigaTera's high-output LED lighting, which has been proven for its world-class technology, as the core solution to meet the most stringent standards. By installing a total of 132 floodlights on 11 high masts, it established a superior lighting environment, providing shadow-free, uniform, and powerful light across the entire apron, making it more than adequate for hosting an international event.
Although no official feedback from a particular official was distributed for this project, the project's success is clearly proven by its objective results. GigaTera's lighting system perfectly met all of Russia's modern lighting standards and led the successful modernization of the airport by securing high energy efficiency and long-term operational reliability. As a powerful case that shows GigaTera's innovative technology, combined with the expertise of its official Russian partner, can successfully complete large-scale infrastructure projects of national importance, it proves that GigaTera's products are a world-class solution that satisfies even the stringent requirements of international events.
