- This project is the latest installation case study of the upgrade of the lighting system at George M. Steinbrenner Field, the spring training home of the Major League Baseball (MLB) premier club, the New York Yankees, with GigaTera's state-of-the-art LED solution in February 2023.
The New York Yankees, a club that pursues the world's highest standards, once again chose GigaTera's innovative technology to provide the ultimate entertainment experience for its fans. While reinforcing the existing competition lighting system, GigaTera also newly installed its innovative 'moving light' technology, RTS™-G1, and RGBW color lighting in select areas of the stadium. This was an advanced project that went beyond a simple lighting replacement to transform the stadium into a dynamic 'sports entertainment space.'
GigaTera's intelligent control system creates spectacular and dynamic light shows using the team's iconic colors during scoring or special moments in the game, delivering a superior fan experience that maximizes spectator immersion.
