GigaTera SUFA Completes the Nation's Largest Baseball Theme Park
- This project is a premier installation case study of the new installation of GigaTera's SUFA series sports lighting at the official baseball stadiums of the 'Gijang-Hyundai Motor Dream Ballpark,' the nation's largest amateur and youth baseball cluster, which opened in 2016.
GigaTera, deeply sympathizing with the project's public interest goal of nurturing the future of Korean baseball and expanding its base, set its top priority to build a top-tier lighting infrastructure capable of hosting international competitions. To this end, GigaTera's engineering team, considering the characteristics of the multi-field complex where several stadiums are adjacent, implemented a precision lighting design that provides perfectly uniform illuminance across the entire ground of each field without the light from one interfering with another. As a result, immediately after its opening, it successfully hosted the '2016 WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup,' proving that GigaTera's technology perfectly meets international standards.
GigaTera's lighting provides a superior environment where all baseball players—from professional athletes to youth and amateur enthusiasts—can safely and comfortably focus on the game at night, and it has also recently been gaining attention as a winter training ground for professional baseball clubs.
