Idaho's New Landmark,
The Light of GigaTera Illuminating its Core
- This project is a premier installation case study of the new installation of GigaTera's SUFA series sports lighting at the Mountain America Center, Idaho's newest landmark which opened in 2023. Deeply understanding the importance of this venue, which will serve as the new home for an ECHL ice hockey team and a key entertainment hub for the local community, GigaTera's U.S. subsidiary collaborated closely as a project partner from the initial design stages.
The Mountain America Center faced two core challenges: creating a top-tier competitive environment and delivering spectacular entertainment productions. Based on years of accumulated North American arena lighting data, GigaTera proposed a customized solution that perfectly meets these complex requirements.
Through the outstanding optical performance of the SUFA series, GigaTera successfully established a superior lighting environment that maximizes the arena's full potential. It achieved NHL-level uniform illuminance and perfect flicker-free broadcast quality, while also enabling dynamic productions for concerts and events through the GeSS® intelligent control feature, which seamlessly integrates with the DMX control system.
