GigaTera's Light Becomes the New Standard for Premium Clubs
- This project is a premier premium sports lighting solution in which the aging lighting of the tennis courts at the 'Carmel Valley Athletic Club (CVAC),' a premium sports club in California, USA, was completely replaced in 2019 with GigaTera's state-of-the-art MAHA series LED sports lighting, maximizing member satisfaction and leading to the club's sustainable growth.
Aiming to be California's premier fitness and wellness club, CVAC was faced with the challenge of providing the ultimate tennis experience for its members. However, the previously installed 1000W class metal halide lamps hindered the members' playing experience due to non-uniform light quality, with both dark spots and hot spots occurring on the courts. Furthermore, high energy consumption and frequent maintenance costs were a direct cause of the club's decreased operational efficiency.
To fundamentally solve this problem, CVAC chose GigaTera as its optimal partner. GigaTera provided a solution that replaced the existing 1000W metal halide lamps with 400W high-efficiency MAHA LED lighting. In fact, after the lighting replacement, the average illuminance of the courts was improved by 50%, and power consumption was significantly reduced by over 60%, marking it as a premier success story that perfectly achieved both goals of member satisfaction and operational efficiency.
