- This project is a premier premium sports lighting solution in which the aging lighting of the tennis courts at the 'Blackhawk Country Club,' a major prestigious club in California, USA, was completely replaced with GigaTera's state-of-the-art LED sports lighting, MAHA, maximizing member satisfaction and elevating the club's prestige to the next level.
As a host of official United States Tennis Association (USTA) tournaments, the Blackhawk Country Club was faced with the challenge of providing its members with the finest facilities befitting its reputation. However, the previously installed 1000W class metal halide lamps caused problems of high maintenance costs and excessive energy consumption due to frequent lamp replacements, and most importantly, hindered the members' playing experience due to non-uniform light quality, with both dark spots and hot spots occurring on the courts.
To fundamentally solve this problem, the Blackhawk Country Club chose GigaTera as its optimal partner. GigaTera provided a solution that replaced the existing 1000W metal halide lamps with 400W high-efficiency MAHA LED lighting.
